Review

Well, I'm about halfway through this, and I have to say, it's really scary. Really. I had to switch it off about an hour into the hospital, because my nerves just couldn't stand it. I mean, I'm an easily frightened person, I admit, and Silent Hill 3 really works on my nerves. It's the darkness, which I must have forgotten after playing Silent Hill 2 and 4, because it really got to me. It's terrible not being able to see anything, wondering what may come around and sneak up on you. The story I gathered in bits and pieces here and there while learning about the Silent Hill mythology, so it wasn't anything new, but still interesting. I really wish I had SH2 on my PS2 memory card for all the hidden SH2 references, but I suppose I can do without them. Anyway, so far, very fun.
